The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® Survivors' Circle Partner
Five percent (5%) of the purchase price of every Cerise Pink Handbag Handcuff® sold year-round will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF) to raise awareness and further its research programs. An independent 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, BCRF advances the world’s most promising research to eradicate breast cancer. Founded by Evelyn H. Lauder in 1993, BCRF has raised more than $500 million to fuel discoveries in tumor biology, genetics, prevention, treatment, survivorship and metastasis, making it one of the largest non-governmental funders of breast cancer research in the world. This year, BCRF is investing $58.6 million in research. By spending 91 cents of every dollar on research and public awareness programs, BCRF remains one of the nation’s most fiscally responsible non-profits and is the only breast cancer organization with an “A+” from CharityWatch. TO THE ENVIRONMENT
As we continue to develop Handbag Handcuff® products, we will endeavor to use sustainable materials and minimal packaging and reduce energy consumption. We will continually assess our manufacturing practices to lessen the impact on our environment.
Composition and Minimal Packaging
The pouch is composed of PU, cotton and nylon. These materials were selected because they are durable, and if used and maintained properly, they should last a long time. No animal skins or animal by-products are used. The hardware is made of zinc alloy and comes in a variety of decorative finishes.
We believe that less is more… especially when it comes to packaging. The simple hangtag speaks volumes about us. Our goal is to save your sanity, not to make you crazy removing clamshells, twist ties, and other packaging elements. Your Handbag Handcuff® packaging and shipping materials are recyclable and can be creatively reused.
When needed to protect our displays and merchandise for larger wholesale orders, we utilize an eco-friendly bubble roll that contains contains up to 40% recycled content with up to 20% from post-consumer sources. This eco-friendly bubble roll is also a Type 4 plastic that is recyclable where accepted.

What You Can Do
We encourage you to save your email correspondence from us in your inbox instead of printing your receipt to help minimize paper waste. Handbag Handcuff®'s tag, shipping container, tissue paper and inserts can all be recycled in a mixed-use paper bin. These items can also be reborn. Consider turning your shipping box into a diorama for a school project or use it to store important papers. The tissue paper can be stuffed inside your bag or pair of boots to help them retain their shape.
